Just a quick note for anyone asking: I've tested the game and it runs perfectly in CrossOver 15.1 (OS X 10.11.4, MacBook Air 11" (Mid-2013)). Just disable Performance Enhanced Graphics and use the Legacy X Window server. Otherwise you'll get rendering issues and/or run into the game's infamous "runs too fast" bug.
