I saw an earlier thread on this but changing compatibility settings hasn't done a thing. Does anyone know a way to get a Sidewinder Precision 2 Joystick working with it? I just upgraded to Windows 10 but I already tested the joystick on other GOG games.

I'm having the same problem with windows 10, the game worked fine under vista, I have checked two different joysticks, and checked all capability settings but the joystick will not work once the game is launched. Have you gotten any other suggestions?

I cannot get the joystick to work either. If I use the game launcher and configure the joystick there, it shows my joystick and lets me configure it but it wont recognize it in the game at all. I have tried everything suggested here in the forum with no good results. Getting really frustrated.

Setting the compatibility settings to Windows 95 actually DID change a thing for me, the controller was recognized in the menus then and I could navigate buttons and confirm with the A button. However, I could only assign axes in the options, all buttons would instantly be mapped to button 1. Sadly even with the controller kinda working in the menus (I could choose and launch a mission by using the controller) no controller input is recognized in-game. Also using Windows 10 here, seems to be the only Windows version with this problem.

Well the good news is, if I turn off compatibility mode it is recognizing my new Logitech Gamepad and even letting me do a bit of mapping buttons.

The bad news is, with compatibility off it is now subject to occasionally crashing to desktop. ~SIGH~
