There have been so many graphical glitches and issues with other (eg: steam) versions. Are those solved in this one? Reflective surfaces, advanced shadows, a bunch of junk simply refused to work properly on newer machines. I don't really want to purchase another copy of the beastie unless I know it's a version worth owning. :P
I just booted the GOG version, and the bump mapping issue I had with the steam version is still present. Basically, textures don't display properly unless bump mapping is set to low.
Can the game go above 1680x1050 eg 1920x1200 or 1080 using the method from WSGF?

No longer have my disc copy to test, interesting in getting the GoG version if its possible.

Using that method I've got my GOG copy running at 1920x1080 just fine. There's also a Widescreen HUD Fix that's very good.
My game doesn't launch :/
