Hi all!

I just announced over in the Independence War forum the upcoming release of a mod I'm doing for Rebellion. It's a total conversion to the I-War universe, and what I believe is the first of such magnitude for the game.

Anyway, I-War fan or not, you may enjoy checking it out, as it's quite a change of pace from Star Wars, and makes some interesting changes to the core gameplay.

I'm thinking I can get it finished up within the next couple weeks, since all that's left is redoing most of the UI art and some characters.

As I mentioned in the I-War forum, a great deal of work has been done on this conversion.

The I-War mod is nearing completion, and I'm now looking for anyone willing to help with testing before I release this to the public.

I have posted a new update on the other thread for the mod. It details the ships that are available to the player.

It's not released yet, but I'm slowly getting there. The balancing is mostly all done, and I'm just waiting on certain artwork and sounds to get finished.

Personally, I find it plays quite well, and very differently from the vanilla game. There are more details in the link in the first post of this thread.
