Me and my friend are trying to play on GameRanger, but whenever one of us hosts and starts the game, the other just gets a screen saying the host has started and the game is in progress with an abort button. Rebellion doesn't start up at all for the other person. Can anyone help?

Which OS are you running?

A few things to try are:
1) Enable UPnP on your router.
2) Forward the appropriate ports on your router, especially port 16000.
3) If you have a software firewall, make sure it has an exception for Rebellion and the DirectPlay Helper app.

If that doesn't work, forward ports 6073, 2300-2400, and 47624. I haven't been able to host with GameRanger and Windows 10 either. But, direct IP connections work.
