There have been a number of topics and posts that casually go over these subjects. However as of this post all of them are either unanswered, incomplete, ambiguous, or dated.

So for the sake of all of us out there who are looking for some concrete answers.

(TOPIC 1) A few other posts in these forums have indicated that some people have gotten RebEd to work.
A. To what degree does RebEd work with the GOG version?
B. Is it possible to fix the “You must have a complete install for loading cards.” Error. When attempting to insert custom characters and/or ships.
C. If So, How?

(TOPIC 2) There has been some activity on the old community hub for this game “swrebellion.com”, however...
A.http://forums.swrebellion.com/ have almost perpetually been down with a SQL ERROR, any info on when this may be fixed?
B. Any chatter from the folks over there about updating RebEd for better integration with the GOG version?

I know this is rehashing some old stuff from these forums, but I really have looked, and genuinely can not find sold or comprehensive answers on this. Those I have found, tend to contradict each other at one point or another, or are ambiguous and don't give any details. So anyone out there that can put some of these questions to rest, you have my gratitude.

I got it to work with my install without any special difficulty, but I only modified statistics for existing units. Rebalanced troopers so they all had a point and purpose, and some ships for the same and also so that R&D flowed better. I will try to update and add units and get back to you.
1A) Almost every feature works.
1B) Yes.
1C) TooBigLocation needs to point to MDATA's parent folder, and MDATA needs to be moved outside of Rebellion's base folder. I posted a full write-up elsewhere on these forums.

2A) It is fixed.
2B) RebEd is a Delphi executable that, to my knowledge, cannot be directly edited because we no longer have the source code. Lost decade(s) ago. Some minor changes through hex edits can be done, but only minor stuff.

It isn't necessary at present, however, since all the features can be made to work. It would be nice, but not necessary.
