I know Steam has the Mac version of KOTOR. I was wondering when GOG would have it available. My old laptop (Windows 7) died, and I'm currently using an iMac (2009 model). My iMac runs the Mac versions of my games pretty good. I can even run some Windows games, such as Jedi Academy, via Wine.

My iMac specs are:
CPU: 3GHz dual core
RAM: 4GB (expandable to 8GB)
Graphics: 256MB nVidia GeForce 9400M
OS: Yosemite
You should ask them, then.
Aspyr Media publishes the Mac version on Steam and App Store.
Honestly, it works so well on Wineskin out of the box that you don't even need Steam's Mac job. I was able to get this working with widescreen resolution with barely lifting a finger. Only tinkering I ever needed to do with just plain installing on a blank wrapper was switch the EXEs around for widescreen configuration and ramp all the graphics to maximum. Didn't even need to fool with the screen settings.

I'm not sure if the mac version on Steam is wineskin or not either, but I'm 75% sure on educated guess that it is. More often than not we don't get the ports made by other companies though, it's rare that Steam even gets them.

With recent wineskin engines, cutscenes wouldn't play properly (audio only). I managed to make them work, this is how:

Macbook 13", mid 2014, OS X 10.10.5
Engine: WS8Wine1.2.3
Screen Options / Override / FullScreen:
Resolution 1024x768
Color Depth: 24 bit

If the Wine System Tray appears during gameplay, find/add this key in the registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Wine/X11 Driver
Add a new string value:
Name: ShowSystray, value: false

You should disable grass and soft shadows (and frame buffer effects, which were unavailable for me by default) in-game.

Seems to work fine, except that the fan is spinning constantly. Haven't tried widescreen options.
