I know this is an issue that so many people have but I can't get this game to launch on my laptop for anything. There's nothing wrong with my drivers or anything hardware related. I've tried installing the game in a seperate file and running it as adminstrator. I've changed the launch to windows xp. I've changed the frame buffer and soft shadows to 0. I don't know what other solutons I could think of. Any help would be appreciated thank you.

The same thing is happening to me, I can't get KOTOR to launch, for anything. I don't even know what else to try. Neither KOTOR 1 or 2 will launch. Either I want my games to work, or I want my money back.
Try disabling the intro/logo movies. Instructions here:

No error message?

I run the original disc version and have no issues, aside from the frame buffer deal (AMD/ATI chip) on a Win 10 64 laptop.

I do run it on admin/XP SP3 but that's just so it saves in the right folders.
