i just downloaded kotor from here because my cd version would crash after going to the second battle with grenades (10 minutes into the game) and now i can actually play it but i cant seem to be able to add the EnableCheats=1 to any file because i cant find it. any help?

File you need is swkotor.ini and should be in game folder.

Sorry to necro this, but I'm afraid KotOR is quite, quite, quite impossible once you get to the Star Forge. Even on "easy". Wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave of non stop enemies - with never a seconds worth of break ensure it. There is nothing that you can do, your three chars are overwhelmed within minutes - even when at the maximum level, 20. After wasting three weeks on this game, and with a lot of already stacked frustrations with it's "Jade Empire engine jank" only to find that the turd becomes impossible at 95+% completion. Good job there is a god mode cheat! Still, this is the kind of thing that really pisses me off!

And it rasies the question, "should I even bother starting KotOR 2 - when that also likely pulls the same stunt?"
