Graphics issues with this kind of games can sometimes be solved (temporarely, at least) by tweaking the game settings to disable shadows and anything else that can cause odd behavior. Since it doesn't like your hardware, it probably has trouble rendering those effects (which KOTOR uses even in the menu).

If everything fails, there's windowed mode (swkotor.ini):
FullScreen=0
AllowWindowedMode=1

There is no problem listed here?
How can we help if we don't know the issue?
