I sent in a support, but figured I'd post here anyway.
I'm totally blind and have been playing kotor off and on for about threeish years, same for kotor2 I originally owned it on steam, and got this version because I read a few topics that said one would work while the other wouldn't sometimes
about three or four days ago I got tired of amd telling me to update and hit the upgrade button by mistake. When my computer restarted, I couldn't read any of the menus anymore
I play using a screen reader called nvda, and the windows 10 ocr feature before that came out, I used cloud ocr which is an addon for nvda
nvda hasn't updated lately, and the only thing that has is amd and maybe windows.
I tried rolling back the drivers, but it didn't fix anything. I also ran a few things including a sfc scannow, to see if something was broken.
even if I create a new game, as I can still remember some of the menus and the curser starts on new game by default where as kotor2 starts on load, I can't read any of the menus anymore
I've tried all up and down the resolution settings, all of the graphics stuffs are off, and I tried all of the compatibility modes trying to find a way to fix this. even tried flawless widescreen.
I don't know how ocr gets it's information, but I'm hoping to find a way to play kotor again, as there are few mainstream games I can play as a blind person. I have no pictures, as the screenshot button doesn't seem to be doing anything, and my physical computer screen was messed up a few years ago so I can't just take a picture of the screen with the game window up. I have obs but I can't figure out how to make vidios

the only thing I know about ocr is that it doesn't like full screen
I know people generally don't have a lot of experience with this sort of things, but any advice would be helpful, as I'd like to play kotor again, and it worked fine a few days ago

ps for some reason my computer lags a lot of aI match the resolutions, or if the resolution on kotor is to high, the resolution in swinfo is what my comp was set at when the game still worked, kotors was lower I believe either 800x600 or 640/480
further note, it doesn't do it often, but my screenreader sometimes speaks and says stuff like screen is says things like size is 640 by 460 tall like when I switch in to kotor with windowed mode off, I almost wonder if higher resolutions are failing to run in windowed mode, or my computer is failing to actually scale the screen down, because the number doesn't stay consistent, and also isn't what kotors res is set at
