1-How if at all do I drop inventory items anywhere? I can only seem to dump loot in containers. Which is stupid =/

2-Is there a way to fix the glitch where the grass makes things invisible behind it?

No mods please, curious about normal corrections via a config file or graphic option I wasn't aware of.

1. I don't think there's any way to drop items in either game - items can only be placed in containers, sold, or (in KotOR 2) broken down into components / chemicals at a workbench / lab station. You have unlimited inventory capacity, so I guess the designers thought there'd be no need for item dropping.

2. Only fixes I know of are:
• disabling grass
• possibly the fix in this post (although it may cause other issues... and I guess it'd go against your "no mods" request)
• getting a different graphics card that renders grass correctly

I found this post which explains the probable cause of the issue (and a way someone might be able to create a fix by editing the grass alpha textures)
