Hello, I created this mod in autumn 2015 and now it reached full maturity with latest update. FX is a overhaul of the game with better shaders, bug fixes and new effects for both singleplayer and multiplayer modes using original engine:
-100 % vanilla friendly;
- It includes now autoexec.cfg files for different screen ratio, you can choice to 4:3 extreme graphic or 16:9, with all related fixes for proper gun position.

Compatible with retail, openjk, vr, android and all ports of JK2.

Could this mod work on something like Ubuntu Linux through Wine or Lutris?

Sorry for late reply, I guess it works on it. It's only a small pk3 with enhanced graphics. No engine changes.
