The config may not save changes though. they are working on a hotfix which might be released today! :D

Awesome! But do you have any idea if it prevents you to use the multiplayer mode (with GameRanger or anything else)?

So I've tried it and it creates a second .exe for the mod but you keep the original files. So you just have to create 2 shortcuts and then you just have to choose which version you want to play, and you can still play online since you kept the original files.

yep, just use the configurator and choose the X2.exe. then start the game by doubleclicking on the x2.exe
