Apparently the CD release of Clone Campaigns contained more music than is contained in the digital re-release (7 minutes and 28 seconds to be exact. Since I don’t like using the all-in-one patch due to it completely changing the music used, this is a major revelation, so I took the liberty of making it usable in the GOG version. It can be downloaded here in 500 kbps OGG format.

Will it work with Expanding Fronts?

Expanding Fronts doesn’t modify how the music works AFAIK, so yes.

I just asked because the mod had some issues with the ingame music, and unfortunately I can't test it myself right now. Anyways, thank you for sharing it!

I didn’t know it had issues. It played back fine for me. I might look more into it.
Hello! I have a question. The background music of this game has two problems that call my attention. This problem occurs in both versions, GOG and Expanding Fronts Mod. The first problem is that the slider that controls the music volume in the menu doesn't work, you change it and the music volume remains high, very loud. The second is that the music track plays once and stops when reaches 30 minutes, it fails to loop itself. Is this a problem that is present in the original game or is it caused by some incompatibility with modern systems? I also realized that when you play the original campaigns through the Clone Campaigns executable the enemy AI becomes broken. The AI doesn't construct new buildings and doesn't research new troops, it only sends a few units from time to time in Aggressive Stance. The missions become very boring and easy. Apparently, this game is still full of bugs that Ensemble Studios never fixed. Sorry for the large text.

The music will restart if you alt-tab out and back into the game. You can work around the Win10 CD issue by manually decreasing the volume in audacity.

Does the Steam version include all the music?

I have no clue; I only have it on GOG. It is pretty easy to check by just comparing the lengths of the .ogg file in VLC media player or Audacity.
