It's been ages since I've been able to play this, so bear with me. I could be missing something super simple.

I'm not able to boost at all in any race. Not the quickstart turboboost, not any other kind of boost, nothing. If I recall correctly, boosting occurs when you hit around max speed and the little green light lights up, and you slam and hold the boost button, right? What am I doing wrong?

holding forward on whatever you use to stear and then the green gass bar should change color and when it reaches the circle it will make a different colored light and then press the turbo button that should help ya out

woogiepooh2013: holding forward on whatever you use to stear and then a bar should appear and when it reaches the circle it will make a different colored light and then press the turbo button that should help ya out
So, I should be using both forward and the Thrust button? Should the light be something other than green?

srry i don't remember at the moment maybe i can find a youtube video

IT SHOULDN'T BE GREEN

when you hold forward or thrust button the half circle gas bar should turn a different color till it changes the green light a different color then press the boost button and you do not have to hold the bost button down but you do need to hold the accel/throtle button once you let go of that it goes back to normal speed

I figured out what was going on.

For whatever reason, the stick I assigned as "Nose up/down" was giving me that thrust bar. I rejiggered my settings and now I can make that thrust bar become a darker red and the green light becomes yellow, enabling me to boost.
