Ixamyakxim: Hi! So I picked up the bestest (okay, maybe second bestest behind the D&D) Bundle ever, with a ton of games I wanted to play, including this one. Here's my problem.

At some point in the Empire campaign, I lost Vader. He just sort of disappeared. His "Unit Icon" is still present in the upper right of the screen, but clicking on it does nothing but make a little in game noise. Okay, I think, I'll just play through a "Main Mission" or two and hope the game scripting brings him back. It never does. I'm now at a campaign mission (the one where I have to capture Leia by tractoring the Tantive IV near Tatooine) where I have to have Vader. Every time I try to move units TO Tatooine, a Vader voiceover plays, chiding me for not including Vader in the unit stack I'm about to send. Am I screwed? Is this campaign now borked? Is this a known glitch that is easy to solve, or am I doomed to load a (MUCH!) earlier save that will probably cause me to just shelve the game rather than finish it.

Any help would be appreciated!

Goodaltgamer: I assume you mean Empire at war and not forces of Corruption ? ;)

Ixamyakxim: Yes this is in the base game Empire At War. His unit icon isn't grey or on the timer, it shows up as normal. I've used Veers and his will go into proper "cool down," I can click on the other two unit icons and get it to center. Vader just glitched out at some point :( I'm hoping there's a proper fix / workaround. I thought after advancing the story I'd be fine - instead I'm now at a mission that requires Vader.

And just to make it clear - I didn't lose Vader as in he died in mission. After a ground battle it just became impossible to select him via his unit icon, and he isn't visible anywhere in the Galaxy. But he still does voiceovers (when I try to start the Tatooine mission his holoimage shows up and he tells me he must participate).
