Hi there I've posted this problem to support and while I wait for them to get back to me I'd like to ask if anyone else has experienced this isue. So when I use the GOG downloader to save Star Wars Jedi Knight Dark Forces II to my hard drive

saves it under the name "star_wars_republic_commando_copy3"

This will cause confusion later on when sorting though the archive.

Meanwhile the DLC uses the name "star_wars_jedi_knight_dark_forces_ii_copy3" which is just weird.

Has this happened to anyone else?

The problem is on GOG's end. The support link is also broken because of this.
Oddly, the browser download link also points to /star_wars_republic_commando_copy3/ but when the download file kicks in it is the correct file, Jedi Knight at 6008MB. I'd have thought the downloader would therefore still work, even though it is referencing a link with the wrong name.

The JK manual is also affected. However, MotS seems to be okay.
