After completing DF1 on the Deck, seemed natural to follow suite with Dark Forces 2 (DF2) and happy to report that have completed it (GOG version, in the light side) with no issues and at 60FPS! A few comments before sharing the settings used:

- Only focused on single player mode - have not tested the multiplayer mode
- My experience this game is fully "verified", after control mapping
- 100% battery equals about a 3h per gaming session (consuming between 6W to 10 W)

* Known issues: when exiting the game, on rare occasions, the Steam animation loops indefinitely (like its running something in foreground), switching to any other menu restores standard navigation.

* HW = Steam Deck

* OS = SteamOS 3.4.4 build 20221228.1

* Launch file = "/run/media/mmcblk0p1/Games/DF2/JK.EXE"

* Compatibility = Proton 7.0-5

Specific Steam Deck settings:

* Framerate Limit = 60
* Refresh Rate = 60
* Half Rate Shading = Off
* Thermal Power Limite = Off
* Manual GPU Clock Control = Off
* Scaling Filter = Linear
* Launch Options = WINEDLLOVERRIDES='winmm.dll=n,b' %command%


DF2 specific settings:

* Display:
- Enable 3D Acceleration: true
- Video Mode: 1280x800 16bpp
- View Size: near max (otherwise the HUD is invisible)
- 3D Accelarator min texture size: 32

* Sound:
- Digital Channels: 24 (using high-res sounds)

Other options are control related and very subjective, this week will post the control I have used, but a must is to invert the mouse YY axis!
