I just installed DF2 on Windows 7. As soon as I enter the game, I am unable to move. Besides from the mouse (which works fine), the only button that works is "W" which just takes a screenshot. When I go into controls to remap the keys, everything is mapped as it should be. "Take Screenshot" is set to "F12". If I try to reset "Move Forward" to "W", I type in "W", but it remaps it to "F12". I've tried resetting my computer and restoring everything to default, but no dice.

Anyone else encounter this issue and know how to get around it?

I don't believe that I've ever seen that issue. Try running the game as administrator, since a permissions issue could be preventing you from changing the controls. If that doesn't help, you might try deleting your "player" folder in the game's folder. If that doesn't help, try installing the game to a different folder, like C:\Games\JK, especially if you originally installed it to Program Files or something else like that.
