Hi, I'm trying to run the JK/MOTS mod SabresX. Is there a guide to installing .goo files and then running the mods? The old school method was via Patch Commander but it does not seem to play well with Windows 8 or GOG.

Any help for this old gamer would be much appreciated.

The solution is very simple.

Create a folder in your main JK directory called MOD and place the SBX.gob file into it.

Create a shortcut of the main exe to your desktop, right click and go properties and add to the end of the target

-path MOD

Your path may look like this;

JediKnight.EXE" -path MOD

Multiplayer for JK mods is not easy to setup. So far I've not been able to do it using Gameranger or changing port forwarding. If anyone else has been able to get around the connection issues I'd love to learn how you did it.
