Edit 2: Thank you @LusoGamer! So as of 11-14-24, Bounty Hunter is up to date now.

EDIT: Alright so... I think the GOG version is up to date now. I'd appreciate it if someone could verify this. It's probably accurate though. But I'm a little worried about Aspyr here on GOG, so not a bad idea to check if GOG's version is up to date should you decide to buy this in the future.

I wanted to buy this game, but "https://www.gogdb.org/product/1158717618#builds" says the GOG version isn't using the latest build/patch. It's really annoying that I have to research this stuff before i buy games on this store. Can this be verified by someone please and if I'm right, can it be patched Devs or GOG or somebody?

Good news! The game was updated.

Patch 1 Full Changelist:

- Addressed a bug where the controller would rumble when Montross uses his jetpack during the Chapter 6 boss fight.
- Credits will now properly play after the final cutscene.
- Updated the Controls Screen to correctly display "Free Aim" instead of "First Person Mode."
- Fixed a crash that occurred after acquiring the jetpack for the first time.
- Improved camera focus for smoother vertical movement on controller.
- Adjusted default audio settings for a better experience.
- Updated parental control values to align with PEGI 16 rating for specific regions.
- Added new cheat codes that alter the number of continues in the game.

Thanks! Anyway, why some patches came later to GOG then Steam? Yesterday I just digging similar stuff and learned TimeShift has a more up to date version on GOG then on steam. Steam has 1.00 and GOG has 1.02.

Patch 2 changelog:

- Fixed an issue where Jango would occasionally get stuck in a hanging animation when trying to roll down an exit.
- Fixed an issue where button inputs performed while in a cutscene would count as in-game inputs.- Made various improvements to Mouse and Keyboard control functionality.
- Made various graphical improvements for all platforms.- There are no longer invisible grabbable edges on Chapter 2, Level 3: Upper City.
