So BF2 just got an update for the multiplayer issues.

Is it working for anyone now? Still seem to have super high latency, when testing.

I'm from Turkey and I managed to join a crowded server. It still shows "0 ping" in the lobby but I was able to play a bit. I need to test it further though.

I never actually had problems joining servers, although due to 0 ping error, I was always joining higher ping servers. Unfortunately, the new update didn't do anything for me, still waiting for ping display error to be fixed somehow.

Anyone knows why Steam's update seems to be larger than the GOG's one?

New fix, new hope. Now, I can join games better, but with Pings about >100 it is not fun. Space no chance to do a nice dogfight, sniper - no chance to hit anything. Pretty sad ;(

They fixed the issue of joining for most but still the lag is killing any chance of playing seriously.
