Can anyone verify whether I'd be able to install the same GOG copy of Star Wars Battlefront 2 on multiple computers in my household and play LAN multiplayer between them (at the same time)? Or would I get CD key errors? I'd really appreciate hearing from someone who has tested this specific scenario. Thanks!

Tried it & it can be done. Spent a fun afternoon forcechoking my two cousins :)
Haha, awesome! Thank you for responding! So you only had to purchase the game once on GOG to do that, correct?

Can you please tell me how to do it?
When I tried setting up a LAN game, no one could find my game.
I went to the multiplayer tab, clicked on create, then selected LAN. Then I put in the maps, named the game, started the game, but no one could join. They went under multiplayer, join, LAN, but they could not find my game.

Thank you in advance to anyone who tries to help.
There is a tab in the upper left of the screen that says "Internet". Click on it and select "LAN" instead.

I'm pretty sure that I've already done that, but I will try again just to be sure
Nope, nothing. It's like the game doesn't exist, I can't find it any where.

And I have tried both with a vanilla game, and again with the unofficial patches
was the game created while clicling on lan as well?

Yes, the game was created in LAN mode.
I hoenstly don't know, then. It worked for me and my cousins
Just a thought--have you tried turning off the firewalls on all computers you're trying to connect to the game (including the one hosting the game)? Sometimes firewalls can block game connections. You wouldn't want to leave your firewall turned off permanently, but you might want to try testing with it turned off.
Well, it's worth a shot
Nope. I turned off my firewall and I still can't find any LAN games. Although to be honest, even if it had worked I don't like turning off my firewall, and even if it's LAN I would never play with it off.

I guess you use wi-fi so probably you should change one (?) of the settings for your wi-fi router.

I had the same problem for Stronghold HD LAN game and had to change something in router settings (sorry, i don't remember what exactly - i googled it about a year ago)

If I were the only one in my household I would try this, but I can't risk screwing up everyone's internet just for a game. I will continue to play around with it and if I find a solution to the problem, I will post it here.

Thanks anyway:)
