Its an absolute joke they have made things worse with this multiplayer "fix" you could play online using other server fine but no they don't work and its also broken multiplayer for mods as well so me and some friends can no longer play mods together. Thanks for ruining a great game

You can play Multiplayer with the DVD version via GameRanger. I don't know if Steam or GoG version are compatible with gameranger (after the multiplayer update)
