As the title states, how do I play multiplayer? I click Multiplayer and Gamespy Login pops up. Help!!!

click the multiplayer tab on the top left. no need to log in to gamespy to connect.

Are you using the Steam/GOG version? If so, you probably need to reinstall or verify file integrity (the second option is AFAIK, exclusive to the Steam game) for the game. It probably didn't update correctly or some files are messed up, causing issues when you try to access the master-server provided by GOG.

However, if you're using the disk 1.0/1.1 game, you will, unfortunately, be saddled with having to use a multiplayer alternative that's unofficial. The two best ones are GameRanger and SWBFSpy, both of which I will link below.
