i downloaded gog battlefront 2 but can't play multiplayer, i hear gamespy has shutdown. now how i can play ?

Did you try to simply open the game and select the 'multiplayer' tab on the main menu? if you did, you will probably want to try to validate your game files. I would give you instructions on how to do that but I don't currently have the game owned on this website.
