It just sits there. Never goes further. Doesn't crash either. Am I missing some setting I need to jiggle? Running Windows 10.

Idk if I am the one to say much on this. But try some of the basics if you haven't.
Run as Admin, blah blah blah
If you a control panel for your graphics card mess around with those settings.
Again, not in the position to give advice, but I hope that helps.

Run it from debug exe in the folder. this works for me.
