GLW_StartOpenGL() - could not load OpenGL subsystem
I have the same issue. Not sure what to do. Anyone got a fix for this yet?
FYI, I kinda got it to run. Here's how:

Installed the game again, completely removing it previously.

Next, I went under the video settings, and then advanced.
Then changed each video setting one by one. Hitting apply after each change.
Finally, I started increasing the resolution, one by one. I'm at 1152x854 atm. I had the game crash on me, if I went higher, so I'm sticking with this for now.

No idea how to increase the resolution past this point. Every other graphical setting is turned all the way up.

Hopes this manages to help someone in the future.

the log shows the reason for crashing is you have probably accidentally enabled the 3dfx driver option.

you would have only needed to delete the efconfig.cfg and then restart game.

the game will also crash setting any resolution higher than 1152x854 and you need to se a custom resolution from the config.
