I'm trying to play this game multiplayer with a few college buddies, but we want to setup our own server to have more control of modes and maps. Is there any current guides to setting up a server or multiplayer game like that? I've already installed cmod but that's all I've done so far.

The problem is that when I create a server, whether it is dedicated or not, it just doesn't seem to show up for anyone else and trying to connect directly with an IP address just doesn't work either (stuck at "Awaiting challenge...").

Any advice would be helpful.
