Hi, I managed to set Elite Force up for widescreen, ready to enjoy some nostalgia. When I played the Voyager Virtual Tour and the tutorial, however, I noticed that all the curved geometries of the various arc-like structures (e.g., circular windows, arcs in the hallways) on the Voyager seem somewhat crude with clearly visible segments.
Now, I don't mind at all - I love playing old games and don't really care about the graphics too much. But I do remember that "curved surfaces" were all the rage for the Quake 3 engine games and I can vaguely remember that we were all quite impressed by this stuff also in Star Trek: Elite Force.
Is there some setting that got switched with the GOG version or did EF never really implement those curved surfaces for the generall geometry and I am simply remembering this wrong? Would be cool if anyone knows more about this.
Thanks!
