Is multiplayer possible? the game description says it is, but in game there is no option I can find

If i recall correctly from how the CD copy i owned the multiplayer was a separate exe called holomatch.
Check your install folder there should be an exe called something like stvoyHM and the icon is blue instead of black.
Launch that for the multiplayer. Not sure if there is an easier way to do this.

Yea it's a seperate .exe to the single player. The Multiplayer mode is called "Holomatch" and can be found in your game Folder.
The .exe is called "stvoyHM.exe"

edit: also fyi this game is based on the quake 3 engine, so any and all config options, be it mouse sensitivity, coloured names and fov can be managed in the .cfg files directly. Just like in Quake 3. Also any and all options can be used, even if the game itself doesn't use all the features of the quake-engine. So if you happen to have a sick .cfg from your good old Quake3 instagib days, knock yourself out :)

This is the only multiplayer fps game I actually enjoyed and bothered to get good at back in the day. Can't say my skills have held up, but I seem to remember the kill leader having a star above their head in MP.
