I seem to recall way back in the day that if you did not input a CD Key, Holomatch would be darkened. Well, mine is dark and the CD Key prompt says "Key is valid, thank you."

Does anyone have a fix for this?
Is this strictly a Holomatch issue? Refer to my post "cMod - Community multiplayer client for EF1". That client should likely solve the problem, at least on the multiplayer side.

I don't think this is a CD key issue, just a graphics driver compatibility one.

It's an engine thing, Quake 3 also has that problem.

Go to baseEF\hmconfig.cfg with a text editor and set r_ignorehwgamma to 1. For singleplayer, do the same to baseEF\efconfig.cfg.
