I am interested in buying this game. However, I really don't like to troubleshoot old games to make them work on modern operating systems? Has anyone tested and gotten this to work on Windows 10?

The instructions are in the readme. Just make a backup of the original files in the game folder and you are all right.

Tested today on WIN 10:
No Issues with graphics or control

SFA on GOG works fine without this.

The GOG version comes with its own DX wrapper.

I'm playing via the GOG Galaxy client on Windows 10. Works just fine, no other programs needed.

(Although the last mission with the Meclanti is giving me one heck of a time, and I'm not 100% sure it isn't bugged).
