TrueDosGamer: No, but I'd rather see Star Trek: The Secret of Vulcan Fury resurrected. They did all the voice work for it. And the fact they could update the CGI to HD would be an awesome treat.
That's not going to happen. Interplay no longer has the Star Trek licence, so they couldn't complete the game even if they wanted to and had the financial means to do so. The assets that had been worked on for the game, including the voice recordings, have also apparently been lost. It's also worth noting that, by Interplay's own admission, the game was still years away from being finished when it was cancelled, and was not even design-complete. According to an interview with one of the people who worked on the project, the script for the game was never completed, so when the actors were brought in to record their parts it was only for approximately the first half of the game that had been written. DeForest Kelly was also in bad health when he recorded his part, so he didn't get to finish his recording sessions for the part of the game that was written. The team ended up hiring Maurice LaMarche to redo McCoy's lines.

CrimsonSun: I was able to install Chekov's Lost Missions from the retail disc using the procedure below. Full post with screenshots on my blog:
https://bentrubewriter.wordpress.com/2015/05/12/agfv-starfleet-academy-chekovs-lost-missions-gog/
Step One: Install Starfleet Academy using the GOG installer (I haven’t tried this with Galaxy, but you may be better off with the stand-alone).
Step Two: Rename the game folder. By default the game will install to C:\GOG Games\Star Trek – Starfleet Academy. Rename this to something else like C:\GOG Games\Star Trek – Starfleet Academy GOG. Do this after you’ve installed the game, don’t change the install directory.
Step Three: Insert the Chekov CD. Don’t run the installer yet, we’ve got some files to copy.
Step Four: Copy the the “m” video folders from the movies sub-folder on the Chekov disk to the movies sub-folder in your GOG installation. These should be m03, m04, m10, m11, m24, m25 and m27. Don’t copy g00.
Step Five: In your GOG installation rename cdlist.lst to cdlist.lst.old. Rename movies.lst to movie.lst.old. Copy cdlist.lst and movies.lst from the setup folder on the Chekov disk to the movies folder in your GOG installation. You can overwrite these files, but it’s a good idea to back them up by renaming them in case something goes wrong.
Step Six: Copy the contents of the sounds sub-folder on the Chekov disk to your GOG installation’s sounds sub-folder. Again this will be m03, m04, m10, m11, m24, m25 and m27.
Step Seven: Right-click on the Chekov install executable (probably setup.exe). Click Properties, then the Compatibility tab. Run in Windows 98 / Windows Me mode, and Run as Administrator.
Step Eight: Run the Chekov install. It should detect the original installation folder, and copy the files to that location, not your renamed folder. The big thing we need is the data file.
Step Nine: Rename the Chekov folder (maybe append Chekov to the folder name), and rename the GOG installation back to the original folder name.
Step Ten: Rename data.dat in your GOG installation to data.dat.old. Copy the data.dat from the Chekov install folder into your GOG install folder. No other files should be necessary. Do not overwrite the EXE files.
Run Starfleet Academy and you should see the Chekov missions in your missions tab. These don’t intersperse with the narrative as far as I know but you should be able to play them independently. Let me know if this works for you and feel free to send any questions.
I followed your instruction but when i try to start the sfad3d.exe the game crashes & tells me "sfavc has stopped working" https://bentrubewriter.wordpress.com/2015/05/12/agfv-starfleet-academy-chekovs-lost-missions-gog/

As you described i added the movie & Sound Folders & changed the .lst Files as well the data.dat. Nothing else.
EDIT#1:
I have to correct myself. I used a data.dat file from the german 6th CD. which naturally doesnt work.
I also used the Galaxy Client Version of the Game as well & that works too so both the Installer & Client version are working.

@CrimsonSun: I did everything as stated, but the game didn't start after that. An error was specified in "3D" mode not at all in "normal" mode. It is not possible to show videos in the size of 640 * anything ...
I have undone everything. But maybe you have a solution to the problem, then I would like to try again.

@ChrimsonSun: Thanks for the guide.
I can confirm, that there are two different checkov´s lost mission addons floating around.
I had an original copy imported from the US, and apparently it was the german version (but only the ingame texts and the message from the installer is german, everything else is english).
The data.dat from the german version is 48.615 KB in size and the ISO dated 15.04.1998, this version is not working with the GOG release or the DVD-Version.
The correct data.dat from the English version is 47.699 KB in size and dated 20.03.1998. Works splendit with the GOG Version and even with the DVD-Version (if you use the sfac.exe for the addon missions).

Download the latest dgVoodoo2 package and copy D3D8.dll, D3DImm.dll, DDraw.dll (all x86), dgVoodoo.conf and dgVoodooCpl.exe into the installation folder and try again.I have undone everything. But maybe you have a solution to the problem, then I would like to try again.

I know it's probably a long shot, but I followed the procedure and I get an error during the first CLM (Remains), "Error during execution: Undefined opcode 8196. Current script: scripts/m03x.int, procedure uncloakBop
The Bird of Prey then doesn't uncloak and I can't proceed with the mission. It sounds like it's calling the wrong thing, but my hexfu is measly and poking around in the .dat file didn't reveal much to me. Anyone else get this and know how to fix it?

I have no problem with the correct data.dat file (dated 20.03.1998). The Bird of Prey then doesn't uncloak and I can't proceed with the mission. Are you sure you have the correct one?
As stated above there are two versions of the addon floating around AFAIK:
- One is dated 15.04.1998 and the data.dat has a file size of 48615 KB. This version is NOT working with the DVD-Version -> it seems to be a german release.
- One is dated 20.03.1998 and the data.dat has a file size of 47699 KB. This is the one you want.
If you don´t get it working with the GOG Version (which is the CD Version), you can try my DVD-Upgrade Pack - the addon works fine with this version (sfa3d.exe with dxmci.dll instead of MCI interface) .

@crimsonsun This process worked PERFECTLY for me. Much obliged. If only this entire game could be ported into the Klingon Academy engine. I would love to GWar(with KA attacking planetary targets) in THAT!
