so, I bought Hidden Evil a couple of days ago, and when I try to run it, I see the 3dfx splash screen. And that's it. Then the screen goes black. I can't get the window to close, I can't see the task manager, etc. I tried the suggested fixes in another thread about this same issue, to no avail.

Is there any other fixes to this game? Otherwise, I'm going to request a refund. And this was one of my favorite games.
