Is it just me or is the title sequence (the typical Star Trek-style intro, featuring the Enterprise-E doing sweeping flybys with epic music playing as the credits pop in periodically) missing from the game?

Just to make sure my memory wasn't failing me, I checked various Let's Plays of the game, and sure enough it's seems it's supposed to start before reaching the game's menu. However, it hasn't appeared for me any time I've loaded the game.

If this isn't just an issue for myself, then is there a fix/replacement for this and/or could someone at GOG handle it? It's a little odd to miss the very start of a Star Trek adventure in this fashion.

For many the intros where causing troubles with the game.
Maybe they removed or disabled it.

The intro commands are in /base/global/ in some cfg file usually, but I can't find em in the latest GOG Version.

Create a new txt file and name it autoexec.cfg, insert this text and place the file in /base/global/ to restore default.
setd introCommand "defaultSoundTrack none; cinematic paramount.roq; cinematic activision.roq; cinematic ritual.roq; cinematic intro.roq; afterCinematic defaultSoundTrack music/intro; afterCinematic pushmenu main \n"

I am pretty sure the intro is there, removing it would cause incompatibilities for pure servers.
If you just want to see the intro once copy and paste into the console:
cinematic intro

You can paste text into the console by clicking the middle mouse button while the console is open and in focus.

Is this still an issues or did GOG fix it?

Must have been fixed. Just bought the game, and the ship flyby video intro with Picards voiceover is included.

Ya, I can confirm it to be fixed, there is new console debug output I have never seen before.
Maybe I am mistaken, but I am fairly certain I am not.

I messaged GOG about this problem so maybe they fixed it. Is there an update log somewhere?
