There are still dedicated servers for this game, but GameSpy's master server has been down since 2014. This here patch will edit the game executable to point to the community-run master server so you can join the fun!

Turns out the GOG executable isn't (yet) recognized by the automatic installer, so until a new version is made, this manual method is required: https://www.moddb.com/games/star-trek-elite-force-ii/news/ef2-master-replacment
