Hi,

You can set targets in the tactical mode, yet at the same time you can give the command to target at will.
Both are activated with the yellow bar on the left side.
How does that make sense??

If you set a target, how can it be target at will?

I think it might mean target the subsystems at will?

With target at will, your tactical officer chooses the ship to target. He may switch away from a target selected by you. You may pick a subsystem of his chosen ship; he will target the subsystem as long he is targeting that ship, which is usually until its destruction. While enemies remain, he will engage another after destroying the current target.
