Hello,

I was using the the gameranger client to bridge the tcpip multiplayer. It was working for at least 2 games for me:
Swat 4, Sins of a solar Empire Trinity, even Ages of Empires 1 did work.

But as in Star Trek armada 2 it attempts to start the game as the others do, but then it selects gamespy mode and then
the game stops with the error message that there are no gamespy client or servers found.

I own the gog and the old retail Version, but i wonder if its something with Armada 2 instelf oder just something
that could be fixed by changing dll or a config file.
For now had not the time to check out if its doing properly with the retail version.
Like for Swat 4 it only worked with gameranger after the multiplayer servers dll fix that was named at the pcgamewiki Page.

So my question is if anyone did succesfully use armada 2 with gameranger at all?
If it worked what was the solution to do so.

a Huge Thanks for each response from a first our TNG Trekkie
