For me on a win 10 gaming laptop the updates today make things worse.

Armada 2 just crashes to desktop from menu screen.

Armada 1 allows me to set the game to Screen resolution except it's not it's a larger window with black bars all they way around. Not only that but you hit the menu bar in game and the screen goes black. Waste of money for me both of them.

Shambles.

at least you can actually get in. I can't even get into the game at all. either it flashes a black screen for a single frame and dumps me out with no warning. or if I have the 1.2.5 patch it gives an EAccess violation and crashes. Been doing this before the update as well. Even more infuriating is the outright foot dragging for an actual fix to this junk. as much as I hate to say it, starting to think I got scammed this time around.
