Then I abort a mission, shut down the computer, then power it back up and launch Armada again? And it crashes when I pick a mission and click ok. Wow, such amazing stability!

So you're using an unofficial patch, editing files and it crashes. Hmmmm lol

I installed GoG's, installed the 1.3.0 unofficial patch. Then go into the game and then set my resolution manually (for the widescreen), my friend and I managed a full Game Ranger-assisted Multiplayer against the usual 3 hard CPU's and it worked flawlessly. Even the annoying snow-down on explosion of a ship didn't happen.

I haven't tried Single player yet, i will try what you did to see if i can replicate it. Remember though; you cant FIX every possible scenario in an old game with every possibly PC specification when, high likely, they cant get hold of the original game code or developers.

Im running 3070 with a Ryzen 3800x on a x570 motherboard with 16GB ram. Win 10 home.
