Hi so I have gone into options to change the screen resolution but when the option is chosen nothing happens, is there something particular I need to do to make it actually occur?

EDIT: OK so turns out the resolution will change but you have to start a match the main menu screen will not show the change.

I noticed that as well. I guess the menus are pre-rendered and don't change with the resolution?

I was surprised how good the game looks at 1600x1200x32. Probably a lot higher res than I was running it at back in the day!

Correct. Resolution settings only change the in-game engine, the main menu is hardcoded.

The original menus were 800x600, now they upgraded it to 1024x768.

Use the 1.3.0 patch to give you full screen resolution and widescreen.

Also you can use the dxcfg.exe to Override.
