MartiusR: Hot-seat is still there, working fine. But for the network multiplayer in windows version it seems like it's either not working or they deactivated it. After choosing this feature, I can choose between creating or joining the game (also add game's name), but I can't proceed further, as there are no options on grey buttons (and there is supposed to be something, as game gives me a message, that I need to choose a connection type).
Not sure if it's possible to somehow use this feature,I tried IPXWrapper but it didn't work.
FarTooNice: Too bad, but thanks for the detailed reply!
I have some good news - I was searching from time to time if there is any way to restore multiplayer, and it seems, that there is!
Found it on PCGamingWiki - it's just about a single file, named dplayx.dll.
And it's enough to either rename it or move to different folder. After that, there appeared four new options - serial connection, modem connection, ipx network and "internet connection" (assume it's TCP/IP). Tried the latter to create the game, I could, but could not test it as nobody has joined.
