For those who originally played the game on a soundblaster card (likely, 90% of us) and for nostalgia prefer the classic music like I do, here's how to change from GOG's chosen-default Roland MIDI to the classic S/B instruments.

1. Navigate to your SC3 folder and open 'dosboxSC3.conf' in notepad
2. Scroll to the bottom and change the second-to-last line from SC3.EXE to SETSOUND.EXE
3. Run the game from your start menu
4. Change the midi controller to Sound Blaster 16 or Sound Blaster Pro (newer) and let it auto detect, then quit.
5. Change your 'dosbox.conf' back (undo step 2)

I've yet to encounter a single issue but this isn't likely endorsed by GOG, so don't file a ticket with them if it causes problems for you.

The Juffo-Wup is strong.

Paydirt, Captain!
Any idea how to get this to work on a Mac? The configuration file seems to be set up differently.
Would love to help, but I don't have a Mac. Sorry.
