I cannot upgrade Star Control: Origins. I am stuck at version 1.01.53103. The update patch that's supposed to upgrade that version says "This patch does not support your version of the game please download a new installer"

Unistalling the game and reinstalling worked for me. I had to do this again for the recent DLC as well.
