Title

The recent 115GB patch GsC pushed is going to take me around 16 hours to complete at this rate, with my speeds varying wildly between zero and 13mb/s as well as everything in between.

What's the deal? If I'd known how bad the download speeds would be for this game on this platform I would have got it on Steam.

Anyone else having a similar issue?

The patch is currently downloading on my machine and so far i've had a few dips in download rate, some times as low as 0.4MB/s.

I can only assume there are a load of people downloading it hence dips.

Yeah the dips are kind of odd I get them too but you're right, probably a ton of people are downloading it. I'll just leave it on overnight and it'll be done when I wake up for sure.

Sounds like net problems on your ends. You need to power cycle your routers and modems from time to time. I never have any trouble getting steady max speeds when I download anything from GoG.

STEAM is just as bad, its the UNREAL ENGINE. After patch it goes thru the entire size of the game. I wonder if the offline version is better?
