At this price we should be able to remap keys in the menu, as a lefty I refuse to buy any game I can't remap.

Absolutely.... It took Ubisoft nearly 6 months to fix a binding issue in their Avatar game..... I'm thinking I'll hold off on purchasing this game until a few patches roll out....

It's in the 'Control' menu, click on 'Keyboard Controls' and then the remap screen will pop up.

Not entirely, I cannot rebind some of the controls. I think switching the flashlight on and off is one of them.

They're really not mods, just instructions and the configs you need to configure the controls. Anything you download is just a text file. You can pretty much just read through the description and figure it out. Most of the basics are right there. For example:

You will need to edit a file named CustomizeControls.cfg

This file is located in
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Stalker2\Saved\
or (which is the same)
C:\Users\[YOUR_WINDOWS_USER_NAME]\AppData\Local\Stalker2\Saved\
(YOUR_WINDOWS_USER_NAME is your actual user name in your system)

Find it and open it with regular windows Notepad (Notepad++ is better, if you have it).
Then quit the game, make the edits, save and close the file, launch the game to test the changes.
