mods and actor mods i have just got into pc gaming and was told i was able to go to a ltx file and mod my game can anyone help me pkease

Late in seeing this post.

The LTX file you need to edit is [drive:\gog games\]S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl\FSGAME.LTX file.
Drag and drop open it in Windows Notepad.

find the line
$game_data$ = false| true| $fs_root$| gamedata

Change it to
$game_data$ = true| true| $fs_root$| gamedata

Save, then close Notepad
Then find a mod you want, and install it.
