So, i've finished SoC over and over again, now i'm feeling kinda bored and want to replay but this time i wanna play around, so anyone know any working mod with the current version of GOG SoC, especially to increase weight you can carry and run with? Thanks in advance.

Those changes messed up a few saves and made them unplayable. Crud. Worked like a charm until I loaded one of the post-mod saves. Was hoping to be a regular pack mule before heading into Chernobyl.

If anyone else has problems with it, I got out of the jam by renaming the Gamedata folder and then reverting back to an earlier, uncorrupted save. Gave me reason to explore Pripyat again, which turned up some interesting stuff I didn't encounter before.

Been playing with this one, AFAIK it works only when you start new game; else you gonna get CTD. Still i finished this game a couple times already, but the weight hamper me so much late in the game, so i gotta speed run to make it alive. This tweaks makes me able to explore the maps without being forced to scavange heavily and or run back for supplies.

Aaaahhhh, that could be it. Shoulda thunk of that detail. Just gotta get past those pesky helicopters and into Chernobyl proper so I can start fresh and try again.

I tried it on a new game and it still crashes. No biggie - something about my vanilla installation simply does not allow it to work after loading a save, er, it crashes when loading the save. I guess in the game - as in real life - I need to watch my weight.

Yeah it crashed to me first time also, had to clean install then try again, maybe try again with clean install?

I followed the gamebanana step by step but my game doesn't recognize the new folder. How did you guys get it to see the added files? You'd have to change something in the GOG game files themselves to direct to the new folders

UPDATE: OK So i was able to figure out how to make it work, but now my quick save and manual saves are causeing the game to crash. If I am lucky enough to get to a auto save location then they load up just fine, but the other two cause crashes... any idea? Please :/
